Scope of Work: This RFI is intended to gather information to assist in developing requirements for a future Request for Proposals and contract for a new, 24-unit home under construction, known as Parkdale Home. This RFI also aims to test the extent to which services being considered are available in the market. Parkdale Home will serve as a residence for Albertans eligible for the Persons with Developmental Disabilities (PDD) program who have highly complex service needs and require significant support to live in the community. Built in 1981, Chateau Mission Court consists of 42 bachelor type lodge rooms and 53 rooms for self-contained apartment tenants. This is a three-storey building. The existing rooftop unit that supplies heating/cooling to the 3rd floor common areas is from 1980. It has reached the end of its life expectancy and is now requiring frequent maintenance/servicing/repairs. In addition, the existing preheat and reheat coils are unable to heat the supply air to a comfortable setting without closing one of the dampers, which is causing the building to have negative pressure. As a result a new heat exchanger, related pumps and controls are also to be replaced. |

Site grading to reestablish soil cover and liner, including the clay cap, subsoil, topsoil and seed, as well as sheet flow drainage across the landfill closeout 4. Incorporate recently constructed working pad into the backfill as part of the grading 5. Remove and repurpose of frost cap, diversion berms, containment berms 6. Rescue identified onsite stockpile materials and clean slurry/mixing ponds 7. Construct a new all-weather access road around the perimeter of the site 8. Hydroseed throughout the site including along the riverbank 9. Restore all monitoring wells decommissioned during slurry wall construction 10. Install groundwater monitoring wells to verify the intent and performance of the slurry cut-off wall |
