Scope of Work: Install a new 300mm diameter sanitary sewer forcemain from the existing lift station to the lagoons. The new forcemain will be constructed parallel to the existing line to allow for abandonment in place of the current forcemain at the time of commissioning. Temporary sanitary bypass pumping will be required during the final tie-in and commissioning of the new forcemain. The existing manhole located at the anaerobic cell will be removed and replaced with two new control gate valve structure installed on the existing inlet pipes serving each anaerobic cell to improve operational control and maintenance access. Existing Pumps within the Lift Station will be removed and delivered to Xylem for upgrades, then brought back to side for reinstallation. |

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by Strathcona County (the “County”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for Parking Structure Repair at Ordze Transit Centre, as further described in Section A of the RFP Particulars (Appendix A) (the “Deliverables”). The County is seeking proposals for the completion of parking structure repair work at the Ordze Transit Centre, located at 970 Ordze Road, Sherwood Park. The Deliverables include, but are not limited to, localized removal and replacement of waterproofing systems, concrete repairs, floor drain replacements, asphalt crack sealing, and associated protection, preparation, and reinstatement work. There are two phases outlined in the Deliverables: • Phase 1 (2026 Scope): Consists of targeted waterproofing and drainage rehabilitation at the upper parking level. Localized slab delamination repairs, soffit cleaning, and asphalt crack sealing are also included to restore functionality in the most affected areas. • Optional Phase 2 (2027 Scope): Stairwell-related work in addition to continued waterproofing replacement on level two parking area. Including thin traffic deck coating at stairwells, gland seal joint replacement, slab‑on‑grade delamination repairs, beam soffit repairs, and concrete topping spall repairs at stair landings. The selected proponent will be responsible for coordinating all work activities, protection measures, and reinstatement requirements necessary to complete the repairs within the designated phases. Scope of Work: 1. Project Overview The BDSHA Representative is requesting proposals for the removal and disposal of existing exterior wooden siding, installation of new exterior insulation, and the supply and installation of new engineered wood composite siding at Pembina Court Manor. The intent of this project is to improve the building envelope’s durability, energy performance, and long-term maintenance characteristics. 2. Scope of Work Demolition and Removal Remove and dispose of existing wooden siding, trim, and associated components. Remove existing flashings associated with siding, trim, windows, doors, and other wall penetrations. Protect adjacent building elements, windows, doors, and landscaping during work. • Window guards on 2nd floor shall be salvaged for reinstallation by contractor upon completion of siding work. Substrate Preparation Inspect exposed wall assemblies following demolition. Complete minor repairs necessary for proper installation. Report any concealed damage or deficiencies to the BDSHA Representative prior to proceeding. Exterior Insulation Supply and install continuous exterior insulation board suitable for exterior wall applications. Insulation shall have a minimum thermal resistance of R-9. Install insulation to meet or exceed applicable building code requirements and minimize thermal bridging. Seal insulation joints and interfaces as required. Weather-Resistant Barrier Supply and install a continuous weather-resistant barrier (WRB) over insulation. Integrate WRB with existing building components, windows, doors, and penetrations. Flashings Supply and install new flashings at all locations affected by the work. Flashings shall be compatible with the WRB and siding system. All exposed flashings shall be painted or factory-finished to match the selected siding colour. Installation shall ensure proper drainage and weather-tightness. Trim, Mouldings, and Opening Adjustments Provide all necessary adjustments at windows, doors, and other wall penetrations to accommodate increased wall thickness. Supply and install appropriate trim, mouldings, or jamb extensions. This work is part of the base scope and not a change order. New Siding Installation Supply and install engineered wood composite siding manufactured by Maibec, V-Style (V-groove) profile, or approved equivalent. Siding shall be factory-finished, suitable for vertical installation. Colour to be selected by BDSHA upon award. Installation shall comply with manufacturer specifications and applicable codes. Minimum Siding Performance and Dimensional Requirements Engineered wood composite with high-density wood fiber core; nominal size approx. 12 ft length, 11-7/8 in. width, 3/8 in. thickness; factory-applied heat-cured finish; minimum 25-year product warranty. 3. Schedule Work shall be scheduled upon notification of contract award, subject to coordination with BDSHA. Work hours shall generally be between 8:00 AM and 8:00 PM. Buildings must remain weather-tight at all times. |

Scope of Work: a) 52nd Avenue: . 1 Conduct a pre‑overlay inspection with ISL and the Town of Calmar representative to identify locations requiring asphalt repairs, including potholes and crack rehabilitation. . 2 Contractor to complete asphalt repairs, including pothole repairs consisting of full‑depth removal and replacement with granular material having a maximum particle size of 50–75 mm, placed to match the existing pavement structure. The existing granular pavement structure is expected to be between 300 mm and 450 mm in depth. Granular material shall be compacted and placed on tri‑axial geogrid material and a non‑woven geotextile separator. . 3 Remove and replace existing monolithic concrete sidewalk and rolled face curb and gutter on the north side of the avenue as shown on drawings. . 4 Remove and replace existing rolled face concrete curb and gutter on the south side of the avenue as shown on drawings. . 5 Sawcut and remove a 0.5 m wide strip of asphalt adjacent to the existing lip of gutter to provide working space for curb construction and to create a smooth transition with the proposed asphalt overlay. Provide traffic accommodation to allow traffic flow and resident parking throughout the duration of construction. . 6 From the edge of the sawcut described in Clause .5, mill a 0.5 m wide strip at a depth of 50 mm (minimum) into the existing asphalt roadway to provide tie‑in to the existing asphalt and achieve a minimum 50 mm asphalt overlay thickness. . 7 Place asphalt prefill from the lip of gutter to a width of 1.0 m, filling all areas described in Clauses .5 and .6 to match the elevation of the existing asphalt. . 8 Place a minimum 50 mm asphalt overlay throughout the roadway, extending from the constructed lip of gutter on either side of the road, filling all voids, milled areas, and prefill locations. . 9 Landscape restoration adjacent to concrete works. . 10 Provide traffic accommodation to allow traffic flow and resident parking throughout the duration of construction. |

Scope of Work: AFSC is seeking a qualified contractor to provide construction services for AFSC branch leasehold improvements in Alberta. The successful Vendor will be required to enter into an Agreement with AFSC for the duration of the deliverables with further options to extend for additional project needs. The successful Vendor shall have the capacity to provide the necessary equipment and labor for the services included in the RFP and can meet the requirements and expected levels of service to project completion. AFSC will be relocating one or more branch locations in Central Alberta in 2026-2027. The first planned relocation is in Camrose, Alberta. AFSC is relocating from the Camrose Agriculture Financial Services (Government of Alberta) building to a private lease location in Camrose. The main/base building construction is complete, and AFSC is seeking a Vendor/ Prime Contractor to complete the leasehold improvements (shown in Appendix F) required to be completed for AFSC to occupy the space and conduct business. Phase One: Relocate Camrose Office The new space will require turn-key leasehold improvements, AFSC will provide all furnishings and some previously purchased materials listed in Appendix (F), however all other fixtures including a millwork welcome desk and gate are included in the Contractor scope. Previously purchased materials include: Blinds, Bathroom Lighting, Metered Bathroom Faucets, Plumbing (toilets, sinks), Network Cabling, Ceiling Materials, Other Lighting, and Flooring Phase One of this project is required to commence by April 27th 2026, and must be completed prior to June 30, 2026. The contract may be extended and/or amended to accommodate for subsequent work and additional scope to be determined, for Phase Two, which would include additional leasehold improvement related projects between 2026-2028. The agreement will be non-exclusive. Construction/performance bonds may be requested for the initial and subsequent projects. |
