Scope of Work: PROJECT BACKGROUND: Redwater Provincial Recreation Area (PRA) experienced a major human caused wildfire in May of 2025, burning more than 3,200 hectares, largely within the park boundary. This resulted in the ongoing closure to the public while recovery and assessment activities continue. The fire highlighted the need for improved management tools to support seasonal closures, particularly during periods of elevated wildfire risk when off highway vehicle (OHV) bans may be required. PROJECT OBJECTIVE: This project aims to establish access control at the PRA through the construction of fencing along key boundary areas and the installation of gates at designated trail access points. The work will also reduce ongoing maintenance requirements by replacing wildfire-damaged infrastructure.

Scope of Work: Leduc County is undertaking a phased interior renovation of approximately 7,400 sq. ft. on the second floor of the Leduc County Centre to align and complement existing second floor renovations completed in 2025. Arcadis will serve as the Prime Consultant, leading the design team and coordinating architectural and engineering services in collaboration with TWS as the engineering subconsultant. Utilizing a unique project delivery model, this RFP is used to engage a Construction Manager (CM) under a CCDC 5B Construction Management Contract to provide pre-construction services, including input on constructability, phasing, and cost estimating, and to support the development of construction documents. Work will be planned to minimize disruption in the occupied office environment. Upon completion of the construction documents and final cost estimate, the contract may transition to a CCDC 2 – Stipulated Price Contract for the remaining construction phase if approved by the County and is within the approved budget. Arcadis has prepared this comprehensive written scope of work along with high level drawings that outline the overall intent and requirements of the project. These materials are intended to inform the CM selection and facilitate accurate pre-construction services. Following the award of the CM contract, the consulting team will proceed with the development of detailed construction documents. |

Scope of Work: WORK OF PROJECT Work of the project of which work of this contract is, in part, comprised of - but not limited to - the following; Selective demolition and site preparation as noted on the drawings to accommodate three (3) premanufactured modular unit(s) (One Modus B type wet unit and two Modus B type standard units) - Confirm all existing site conditions before proceeding with the work. The installation of a protective temporary secure fence around the construction area. Coordinating the installation of the screw piles to support the new modular unit(s). The transport, placement, and installation of three (2) premanufactured MODUS modular units from location of manufacture at 34 McCool Crescent, Crossfield, AB T0M 0S0 to final placement destination at 10715 131A Avenue NW, Edmonton, AB T5E 0X4. 1. Contractor to include all costs for the transportation of the new modular unit(s) from the manufacturing plant to the school site. 2. Contractor to coordinate all transportation routes with all municipalities through which the transport will occur. 3. Contractor to include all costs required for the placement of the modular unit(s) including any roller jacking or crane costs.
The connection and set up of three (3) new modular unit(s) including skirting, flashings, electrical and mechanical. The connection of plumbing and sanitary to the existing building of one (1) new wet modular unit including but not limited to all demolition and construction associated with connection to existing building systems, include all necessary electrical and mechanical. Modifications to the existing outdoor areas as indicated on the drawings. Repair any damage to hard or soft landscaped areas to the existing school site. Contractor to confirm sequence of construction with Consultant before proceeding with the work. |

Scope of Work: Red Deer Polytechnic is seeking an independent Utilities Management Consultant to provide strategic, turnkey advisory services for electricity and natural gas procurement, utility cost optimization, energy risk management, on-site generation integration, energy performance improvement, and long-term planning. The objective is to optimize RDP’s total delivered utility cost, budget certainty, operational resilience, emissions performance, and value for money while preserving RDP’s final decision-making authority for all supplier selection, hedging, contracting, and capital commitments. This is important because “best value” should not be limited to the lowest commodity price. For a campus, best value includes the commodity rate, delivery/tariff impacts, peak demand, consumption reduction, on-site generation performance, carbon goals, growth planning, risk tolerance, and administrative transparency. |
